Rig Delivery Day Expectations

Congratulations on getting your new Cigar City Rig! Please read this email carefully, as if certain tasks are not completed BEFORE your delivery day, you may not be able to take your new rig home. Your invoice will be attached to this email for payment reference. 


We can accept the following types payment methods:

  • Cash 
  • Cashier/Bank Check 
    • Must be made payable to Cigar City Softwash Supply (Preferred)
    • Must be made out with the exact invoice amount. 
  • Bank Loan (We work with all banks!)
    • Must be fully funded before you can pickup your new rig. 
  • ACH/Wire Transfer 
    • Let us know if you plan to pay via wire transfer. This option MUST be transferred and verified before picking up your rig. This process is only able to be done Monday through Friday. Most institutions will only process wire transfers BEFORE 12pm for same day funding. 
  • Credit Card - Will incur a 3% transaction fee. On a $30,000 trailer, this would be $900


We do not accept:

  • Personal checks
  • Net terms
  • Debit cards, must be run as credit (Most banks limit debit cards to $5,000 per day)


Skid Rigs

If you are picking up a skid, make sure that the bed of your truck is cleaned out before you arrive. While we do paperwork, the technicians will load and set your skid for your vehicle. 


Trailer Rigs

Ensure you bring your trailer hitch! We do carry new hitches in stock for sale if you don’t have one.

  • Single axle trailers will require a 2” ball and a 4 pin wiring plug.
  • Dual axle trailers will require a 2-5/16” hitch ball and a 7 pin wiring plug. 
  • Ensure your trailer light connector is working properly. 
  • Dual axle trailers will have brakes. Your vehicle must be wired with a trailer brake controller. If you do not have a brake controller in your vehicle, check with your local uhaul or vehicle manufacture. 
  • Your vehicle MUST be capable of pulling the trailer safely. We do not allow vehicles to pull trailers out of our lot that are under the max weight rating. 

Delivery Day Process:

  • Once you arrive at our store, we'll walk around the rig and ensure that your order is correct and any issues are corrected. 
  • We'll head inside and take care of all the paperwork including warranty documentation & invoices. 
  • Once paperwork is completed, the next step is to spend about an hour going over your rig including startup/shutdown & maintenance procedures along with specific equipment on your build. 
  • Your delivery day procedure is now complete! You can head on home, or browse our store for more accessories you may wish to purchase.
