Pro 80 New Masonry Cleaner is a professional-grade buffered acid cleaner designed specifically for cleaning new masonry and removing unwanted post-construction mortar residue from masonry surfaces.
Formulated for brick, tile, block, stone, precast, grout, and concrete brick, Pro 80 is particularly useful for new construction cleanup where mortar residue needs to be removed efficiently. It can be used on most rough, unpolished masonry surfaces.
The buffered acidic detergent provides minimal fuming compared with traditional acid cleaning while still delivering the cleaning power professional contractors need. Simply apply and rinse — no scrubbing is necessary when used as directed. This can increase square-foot production, reduce labor, and help limit unnecessary brick saturation that can contribute to efflorescence.

Mixing & Dilution
Pressure Washer / Downstream Application
For optimum dilution, mix or meter at:
1 part Pro 80 to 4 parts water
Apply downstream with a pressure washer according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Pump Sprayer Application
Mix:
12 oz. of Pro 80 per 1 gallon of water
Hard-water conditions may require additional chemical.
Important: Do not run Pro 80 through pumping systems or heating coils.
Application Directions
Thoroughly pre-wet the masonry surface before applying Pro 80. Pre-wetting helps keep the cleaning solution working on surface contamination rather than being absorbed into dry, porous masonry.
Always test the chemical in an inconspicuous area before beginning the full cleaning process.
When pressure washing, set the metering valve to the desired dilution rate and apply the cleaning solution as directed. Detail clean from the bottom up and rinse from the top down.
Do not allow Pro 80 to dry on the surface. Always rinse thoroughly after cleaning.
Surface Compatibility & Precautions
Pro 80 is designed for approved rough, unpolished masonry surfaces, including:

Use caution around plants, plumbing, wood surfaces, and elevator-door finishes. Cover or protect these areas when necessary.
Use a low-pressure rinse on synthetic stone and surface-dyed substrates. Do not brush surface-dyed substrates.

- Anodized aluminum
- Polished aluminum
- Delicate paint
- Unapproved surfaces
The supplied manufacturer sheet contains both a general statement that the formula “will not harm glass and anodized window frames when used as directed” and a later application instruction stating “Do not use on glass, anodized or polished aluminum.” For the Shopify listing, the more restrictive application instruction should be followed unless the manufacturer provides updated guidance.
