The Petzl OXAN Triact-Lock Steel Carabiner is a high-strength carabiner with a symmetrical, oval shape. This shape lets you optimally load the carabiner when setting up your descent or ascension devices, anchors, or connecting it to beams. The OXAN Triact-Lock can be connected to the Petzl CAPTIV bar to favor the positioning of the carabiner along the major axis, limit the risk of it flipping, and keep it merged.

It is certified for CE EN 362, ANSI Z359.12, NFPA 2500 Technical Use, CSA Z259.12, EAC, and UKCA and has a major axis strength of 38 kN.

This durable carabiner is easy to handle, as its fluid design prevents your rope from snagging. It also facilitates smooth rotation of the carabiner with its keylock system.
