1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Flow Commander. This all-in-one remote control system gives you complete command of your pressure washing rig, including:

Downstream injector remote bypass systems

Softwash flush valves

Engine start/stop modules
-
12v external accessories (such as lighting)
Built for easy installation, rugged performance, and future expandability, the Flow Commander adapts to your setup and grows with your needs.
2. Safety Information

Always disconnect power before installation.

Ensure all wiring is secure and properly fused.

Only use approved Flow Commander expansion packs.

Do not expose the unit to direct spray or submersion in water.

Mount in a location away from extreme heat sources.

Note: Mounting bolts are not included. Choose hardware suitable for your rig’s frame or panel.
4. Installation Instructions
Step 1: Mounting the Base Unit
-
Choose a flat, secure location on your rig. Recommended areas: equipment panel, side frame, or control station.

Use the included mounting plate to position the Flow Commander. Mounting bolts are not included.

Ensure the unit is mounted upright and easily accessible.
Step 2: Connecting Power
-
Locate a 12v power source on your rig.
-
Connect the red positive (+) and black negative (–) wires from the Flow Commander to the power source. Most customers use the starter solenoid off the engine. The green wire will go to the black/white strip wire coming from the solenoid. The yellow wire will go to the yellow wire coming out of the engine block.

Note: The Flow Commander already includes a built-in 12v inline fuse inside the unit. No external fuse installation is required.
Step 3: Connecting Control Outputs
For downstream applications, there is a Red/Black/Purple wire bundle that comes out of the control box. These will connect to the downstream injector bypass valve and will be controlled with button #4.
5. 433MHz Remote Pairing Instructions
The Flow Commander uses 433MHz remotes for reliable long-range control. To properly pair your remote. This step is only required when adding additional remotes.

Remove the remote from its protective case.

Hold the bottom left corner of the remote against the top left side of the antenna module. (The unit will beep once, confirming that Button 1 is paired with Relay 1.)

To pair Button 2:
-
Tap the same spot twice against the antenna module.
-
Press Button 2 on the remote.
-
This sets Relay 2.
-

To pair Button 3:
-
Tap the same spot three times against the antenna module.
-
Press Button 3 on the remote.
-
This sets Relay 3.
-
5: To pair Button 4:
-
Tap the same spot four times against the antenna module.
-
Press Button 4 on the remote.
-
This sets Relay 4.
6. Operation
-
Use the remote control fob to activate each function.
-
Buttons are mapped to outputs (labeled on the fob).
-
The indicator light on the Flow Commander confirms command reception.
7. Maintenance
-
Periodically check all wiring connections.
-
Clean the unit with a dry cloth; do not pressure wash directly.
-
Replace batteries in the remote control fob as needed.
8. Troubleshooting
-
No main power → Check wiring and verify power source.
-
Remote not working → Re-pair remote or replace the fob battery.
-
Component not responding → Verify output wiring, ensure connectors are fully seated.
-
Expansion not responding → Ensure the expansion plug is fully seated and dust cover removed.
