Mud Away Red Clay & Rust Stain Remover is a professional-strength acid cleaner designed to remove stubborn red mud, red clay, tire tracks, and rust stains from concrete slabs, concrete block, and brick surfaces.
Mud Away uses a complex blend of acids with an inhibited formulation designed to minimize fuming. It is particularly useful in areas where red clay and iron-rich soil leave difficult stains on driveways, sidewalks, concrete, brick, and block.
For difficult mud and rust staining, Mud Away can be applied full strength. After application, the chemistry is given time to work before the treated surface is thoroughly rinsed with a high-pressure sprayer.

Recommended Surfaces & Applications

Important: The manufacturer specifically states that Mud Away should not be used on surfaces other than those listed on the product label.
Directions for Use
Always test Mud Away on a small area of the surface before treating the entire area.
Use an all-plastic pump-up sprayer to apply the product.
For difficult-to-remove mud and rust stains, apply Mud Away full strength.
Work in approximately 3 ft. x 5 ft. sections, completely covering the area being treated.
Use a plastic-bristle brush or broom to work Mud Away into cracks, crevices, and surface design work.
Allow a minimum of 10 minutes of contact time so the chemistry can work.
Stubborn, extremely old, or deeply set stains may require up to 30 minutes.
After the appropriate contact time, use a high-pressure sprayer to remove the treatment along with the loosened mud, rust, and staining.
Do not allow Mud Away to dry on the surface. Always rinse thoroughly.
For Extremely Stubborn Rust Stains
Mud Away is effective for rust removal in most cases. However, the manufacturer recommends Rust Pro Rust Stain Remover for the most stubborn rust stains.
Important Use & Safety Information
Do not mix Mud Away with any other product.
Do not use Mud Away on surfaces other than those specified on the product label.
Do not allow the product to dry on treated surfaces. Always rinse thoroughly after application.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not allow the product to freeze or store it at temperatures above 120°F.
Keep out of reach of children.
Mud Away is intended for industrial use only.
